Best for bold artwork on flat areas
Screen print works well for solid-color logos, text and graphic shapes, especially when the artwork sits on a flat front panel. It is common for promotional hats, event caps and five-panel designs.
Unlike embroidery, screen print stays flat on the fabric. That makes it useful for large artwork, but it needs the right fabric surface and enough open area to print cleanly.
We review color count, fabric type and placement before recommending screen print over heat transfer, sublimation or embroidery.
