Hat Type
Custom Flat Brim Trucker Hats
A trucker hat with a flat bill: structured foam or twill front, mesh back, and a bill that keeps a straight line. Lighter and cooler than a solid-back cap, and usually the most economical build in a large order.

What this build is
The mesh back is what defines a trucker, and it also defines the limits: mesh cannot hold embroidery or a transfer, so nothing is decorated behind the head on this build.
What you get in return is ventilation and cost. A mesh-back trucker is cooler in warm conditions and uses less fabric than a solid build, which is why it dominates campaign and outdoor orders.
Why the construction decides the decoration
A foam or structured front is what lets the flat bill sit correctly. Without a stable front the bill and crown read as two separate decisions rather than one shape.
Decoration is checked against the build before anything is quoted. If the artwork suits a different method or a different construction, we say so at that point rather than after sampling.
The specification below is confirmed in writing before a sample is made, and the bulk run is compared against the approved sample.
Buyer Risk Check
Where this project can go wrong
Planning a logo on the mesh back
Mesh cannot hold a stitch or a transfer. The back has to stay undecorated on this build.
Flat bill creased in packing
Flat bills crease under compression, and a creased insert does not recover.
Foam front under a dense fill
A heavy stitch plan on a soft foam front can distort the panel. Structure and stitch plan are specified together.
Assuming all truckers are the same height
Crown height varies. A tall structured front and a low soft front read completely differently with the same artwork.
What we confirm before production
Every order is quoted by the actual spec, sampled for approval, and checked against the approved sample before shipping.
Build chosen against your artwork
We review the logo file first and tell you which construction reproduces it cleanly.
Decoration checked against fabric
If the chosen fabric will not carry the method, you hear it before sampling rather than after production.
One written specification
Fabric, profile, closure, decoration and packing are confirmed on the order sheet.
Sample before bulk
Nothing goes into production until a physical sample has been approved against the specification.
Common questions
No. Polyester mesh cannot hold embroidery or a printed transfer. On this build the back stays undecorated.
Cotton or polyester twill, often foam-backed for a structured look. The front is chosen with the decoration method in mind.
It keeps the streetwear or outdoor look and sits correctly on a structured front. Foam-front truckers are commonly paired with a flat bill.
Usually, at the same specification, because the mesh back uses less fabric. Fabric weight and decoration still move the price.
With the bill supported and the crown protected. Flat bills and structured foam fronts are both sensitive to compression.
Yes. A printed front panel suits gradients and multi-colour artwork that stitching cannot reproduce.
A plastic snap is standard on this build. Metal snaps and strapbacks are available.
It depends on the build and the decoration. Send the specification and quantity and we will confirm.
