Blank Corduroy Caps for Decorators
Corduroy caps supplied blank for decorators, embroiderers and distributors who apply their own branding. The point of a blank is that it decorates cleanly in someone else's shop — so panel stability and pile consistency matter more than anything else.

What this build is
A blank has one job: to decorate without surprises. On corduroy the variables that matter are pile consistency across the order and how stable the front panel is under a stitch.
Pile depth varies between dye lots and between wale widths. If a decorator applies patches across a mixed run, small differences show up as a stepped finish.
Why the construction decides the decoration
Packing matters more for blanks than for finished caps, because the blank is handled again before it reaches a customer. Crown forms and brim-safe packing protect the shape the decorator is paying for.
Decoration is checked against the build before anything is quoted. If the artwork suits a different method or a different construction, we say so at that point rather than after sampling.
The specification below is confirmed in writing before a sample is made, and the bulk run is compared against the approved sample.
Buyer Risk Check
Where this project can go wrong
Mixed wale across one order
Pile depth differs between batches and shows up as an uneven finish when patches are applied.
Soft fronts under dense fills
An unstructured corduroy front can pull under a heavy stitch plan. Structured builds suit embroidery better.
Blank packed without support
Blanks are handled again before sale. Unsupported crowns and bills arrive deformed.
Assuming blank means undecorated everywhere
For blanks we normally keep branding off the cap itself, including any interior label, unless you ask for one.
What we confirm before production
Every order is quoted by the actual spec, sampled for approval, and checked against the approved sample before shipping.
Build chosen against your artwork
We review the logo file first and tell you which construction reproduces it cleanly.
Decoration checked against fabric
If the chosen fabric will not carry the method, you hear it before sampling rather than after production.
One written specification
Fabric, profile, closure, decoration and packing are confirmed on the order sheet.
Sample before bulk
Nothing goes into production until a physical sample has been approved against the specification.
Common questions
The cap is supplied without applied decoration so you can embroider, print or patch it yourself. Branding on the cap itself is kept off unless you ask for it.
A structured mid profile. The backing behind the front panel gives the stitch a stable surface, which matters more on a pile fabric than on flat twill.
Yes, and for patch programs it is worth doing. Mixed wale widths show up as an uneven finish.
With the crown and bill supported. Blanks are handled again before they reach a customer, so packing protects the shape you are paying for.
Yes. Colour references are available so you can match against your existing range before ordering.
Yes. Repeat deliveries can be scheduled against a single specification so the construction stays consistent.
We can decorate in-house as well. Many customers take blanks for their own workshop and finished caps for programs they cannot run themselves.
It depends on the build and the colour. Send the specification and quantity and we will confirm.
